Ozuna Baseball Factory Signs Prospectus for Japan

Boca Chica / Santo Domingo.- The Soft Bank Hawks team signed prospect Marco Simon on Thursday to participate in baseball in Japan, whose pact was more than 450 thousand dollars.

Simón is a center fielder who belongs to the Ozuna Baseball Factory Academy and is a multi-skilled player.

He is currently 17 years old and preferred to agree to play baseball in Japan and not opt for other offers he had from various major league franchises.

Simón becomes the third Dominican newcomer to make a pact with the popular Japanese team, one of the winners in baseball tournaments held in that eastern nation.

He joins Frankely Geraldino, a shortstop who signed a little over two months ago, who has great tools, and Mailón Félix.

The new member of Soft Bank Hawks was formally introduced this Thursday as a member of that club.

His agent, José Daniel Ozuna, president of the Ozuna Baseball Factory academy, highlighted the skills of Simón, a native of Villa Altagracia, who along with his two companions is scheduled to travel to Japan next January to join the Minor League team.

Simón is the son of Humberto Simón and María Lois, who from childhood taught him that the first thing is to love God above all things.

“With this firm now my goal is to provide my best possible talent to stay for a long time playing in Japan,” said Simón, showing great confidence.

Like a good son and his mother finding themselves on the eve of celebrating their birthday, the first thing the newcomer did was buy him a house in Villa Altagracia.

On his side, Ozuna thanked the Soft Bank Hawks team for taking an interest in young Dominican talent, as they show that at 17 a young boy still has his skills to sign.

In the country, the Japanese team is represented by the international scout, Kenta Hagiwara, who openly highlighted the existing talent in the country.

The Hawks have trusted JD Ozuna and his academy for the great deployment of quality players that he represents, in addition to the security when carrying out any type of negotiation.

In the act was Willy Ortiz, who trained the young man from his early years, as well as Alma Serrano de Ozuna, executive director of the Baseball Academy.
