Osuna and Suárez were champions in Japan

It is a fact, the success of Venezuelan players extends to other continents. José Osuna and Albert Suárez were crowned this Saturday in Japan, after the extrainning victory of the Golondrinas de Yakult 2-1 against the Búfalos de Orix.

According to the LVBP, Osuna was key to the victory achieved at Hotto Motto Field in Kobe. He was 5-for-3 with a double, two singles and a run.

The 29-year-old Trujillo bids farewell with an average of .292 in this version of the Japan Series, the product of seven hits in 24 at-bats.

Osuna defined the victory 2-1 that allowed the Golondrinas to reach three victories. On that occasion he put his team to the law of a profit to get a title that they had not won since 2001.
