Novoanny Núñez wins and secures bronze in boxing Panam Junior Cali – Diario Social RD

Cali, Colombia. With a gold medal and two bronze medals, the Dominican Republic reached a total of 11 medals after the fourth day this Sunday of the First Junior Pan American Games held in that city.

Gymnastics, with the youthful Jabiel Polanco, joined weights and judo as the three federations that have contributed to the country’s medal table in this multisport event.

Jabiel Polanco took gold in the artistic gymnastics ring mode with a record of 13,133 points to beat the Peruvian Edward Daniel Alarcón Luque, who achieved a score of 12.9 points and won the silver medal.

Judo obtained the bronze for mixed teams by beating the representation of Mexico 4-1, and pesas got a bronze with the athlete Sindy Santana Carrión.

The delegation from Quito has three gold medals, including one for weights, one for judo and one for gymnastics, as well as three silver, all for judo, and five bronze (four for judo and one for weights).
