no you are not dreaming, and we say thank you “The Portal”

In each episode, “The Portal” will offer us a duel only possible in your wildest dreams or, at worst, on NBA2K. For the second opus it’s a confrontation between Freaks to which we are entitled, and we just can’t… not be disappointed.

The series “The Portal” is concocted by Bleacher Report, which is not at its first attempt. Remember for example the success of “Game of Zones”, this animated series which transformed Jon Snow into LeBron James. This time the atmosphere is different and the new creation of BR aims to pit icons of different generations in one-on-one. Spoiler: no, we won’t see a clash between you and your great uncle. The first opus between Kevin Durant and Larry Bird had kept all its promises with strings that catch fire, humor and trashtalking between these two scoring machines. For the second episode “The Portal” really enlarges the dimensions of its intergenerational portal to bring together two forces of nature: Giannis Antetokounmpo and Wilt Chamberlain. Two bulldozers, two psychopaths and inevitably an epic duel. Wilt who scores 100 points and Giannis who scores 101? The answer is right there and we let you discover the winner of the duel between these two great fans of free throws.

Giannis who is countered, Wilt who scores his lowest number of points in a basketball court, facts that remind us that this is only fiction. Despite everything the grub is once again successful with references and very nice moments between the two monsters, like when Wilt Chamberlain trades in his white city converse for a pair of trendy Giannis. Even if there is no similarity at the level of the position, we can detect a real resemblance, particularly in terms of the finish near the circle and the athletic qualities of these two extraterrestrials. In short, this second opus is just as successful as the first and we can not wait to see who will be the next to use Marty McFly’s favorite machine. Did you say goat duel?

Wilt and Giannis: two monsters and two totally different eras that oppose each other. Our favorite passage? Wilt shouting “Communist” after a eurostep from the Bucks player. Unbelievable.
