On Sunday 31 October 2021, at the Palasport G. Ventura in Lecce, the qualifications for the Italian under 15 Judo championships were held, where the titular instructor of the asd New Academy Judo fielded two athletes, Gabriele Lovino + 81 kg and Eligio Zagaria -42 kg, both placed in first place, becoming regional champions and detaching the ticket for the final at the Pala Pallicone in Lido di Ostia on 13 November 2021. Gabriele Lovino played 3 matches all won for ippon, while Eligio Zagaria qualified by right.
