In Brétigny-sur-Orge, the men just missed the sensation and had to admit defeat to hosts France 3-2 in the final. Lukas Reiter only had to admit defeat in the golden score (extra time). Fara took one point in the final.
In the women’s selection, Michi Polleres and Lisa Grabner each contributed one point in the bronze match against Uzbekistan (3: 2) and thus made a large contribution to third place. As with the men, the title went to hosts France. The French beat Poland 3-1 in the final.
