Corrientes tennis player Lautaro Midón leaves behind an unforgettable week. In Merida, Mexico, he reached the semi-finals of Grade 1 (ranking prior to a tennis Grand Slam) and reached the title in the doubles table. At 17, Midón continues to gain experience in his career as a tennis player. The Argentine duo beat Kalin Ivanovski (North Macedonia) and Luka Mikrut (Croatia) in the quarterfinals by 4-6, 6-1 and 10-4. In the semifinals they beat Peruvians Gonzalo Bueno and Ignacio Buse by 1-6, 6-1 and 10-8.
To Colombia
At the end of this edition, Lautaro Midón and Juan Manuel La Serna, members of the Argentine Tennis Association, were traveling to Colombia to participate in the first edition of the Youth Pan American Games.
The continental contest has been officially held since last Thursday in the cities of Cali and Valle del Cauca.
