Running back Mark Ingram will make a comeback with the New Orleans Saints as the Louisiana organization acquired him from the Houston Texans.
At least that’s what the NFL Network reported on Wednesday night. The two teams have not confirmed the information, however, and no further details have been released.
Ingram began his NFL journey with the Saints in 2011, and he wore that team’s colors until the end of the 2018 campaign. Enjoying complete autonomy thereafter, he joined the Baltimore Ravens. for two seasons, then to the Texans last spring.
In 139 NFL games, including 94 as a starter, Ingram averaged 4.5 yards on 1,687 carries, scoring 63 touchdowns. He has been invited to the Pro Bowl three times, in 2014, 2017 and 2019. He added 1,919 yards and 10 majors through the air.
