Marc Martí (Unicaja Oviedo): “I will come back stronger”

The Unicaja Banco Oviedo player went through the microphones of the Podcast with Naranja, the official podcast of the Oviedo Club Baloncesto.

Mártí explains how the play was and how from the ground he saw that his knee was not holding. «I remember stealing the ball and going alone and when I do the first support I feel as if the knee came and went (…). When I saw the physio’s face, I told him: it’s broken, ”he recalls.

Already focused on recovery, he explains that after a few weeks of vacation he is waiting for the operation and that after it he will put himself in the hands of the club’s professionals with a single objective: “To come back stronger.”

During the talk he tells about his growth as a player, his time at ACB and the vicissitudes that the team had to go through last year due to the pandemic. Special mention for the way the club devised for players to receive daily maintenance when Oviedo was closed for months.
