Andrej Pavlović, 22, is one of those FM junkies who takes the little team from heart to stardom. Under his command, FK Bežanija, a Serbian second division team, won access, 10 league titles, six Serbia Cup, and even a spot in the Champions League semifinal. With this feat, the football simulator player decided to send a resume precisely to FK Bežanija, the team of the heart.
And that’s how the virtual coach secured a spot as a data analyst at the club. In an interview with the portal Sports Bible, Andrej was tired of seeing the club in that situation and wanted to try his luck in order to make the club grow again. According to him, the achievements made by the club in Football Manager were enough to receive positive feedback.

“We had a nice conversation and the director asked if I could watch a game the other day. The idea was for me to see things as they are. I really couldn’t believe it. I was shocked, but he explained if I could volunteer. This is because the team is in a difficult financial situation”, he told the website.
From Football Manager to Real Life
Andrej Pavlović’s first match for FK Bežanija took place this Saturday (12). To make the FM player even happier, he saw the team walk away with a 2-1 home win. The match was played against FK Dedinje.
However, it was only then that the Football Manager player actually fulfilled his first role as an analyst. That’s because he posted on a forum experience and showed the data collected by him during the match (see photo above). The idea is that, in this way, he will help the coach to achieve other positive results.
According to him, the prepared summary was so well regarded by the board that he was already called to watch another match as an analyst. This time he was responsible for following the games of the Under-21 team of the team of the heart. However, he saw the team leave only with a draw.
