Recently, the town’s festival committee, Festi Lespi, held its general assembly.
The office presented the activity report, with the observation of no or few activities carried out during the year 2020 due to the current health crisis and the constraints imposed. Thus were canceled the festival of the chestnut, the festival of lights and the village festival.
Despite everything, the volunteers were able to organize the distribution of Easter chocolates, archery sessions, a pétanque tournament, and a free traveling show in August.
The financial report presents healthy and balanced accounts, and no subsidy has been requested this year from the municipality. The office recalls the objectives of the association namely : the development of tourist, cultural and festive activities in the village and its surroundings.
A first program of the upcoming festivities has been announced with four major celebrations : autumn / winter the festival of lights ; spring / summer local festival.
This year again no chestnut festival due to sanitary constraints. Next appointment 11 December for the festival of lights. Once a month there will be a country dance.
The local festival will take place on the 6th and 7th August 2022 on the theme of Lucky Luke. After discussion, it was decided that the tour de table would no longer take place, and that after the photo, a seated show would be offered on the track.
