Kontaveit eliminates Sakkari and will play against Muguruza in the final of the WTA Finals

Estonian Anett Kontaveit qualified for the WTA final Finals by beating the Greek Maria Sakari in three sets with partial 6-1, 3-6 and 6-3 in the second semifinal played at the Pan-American Tennis Center, in Zapopan.

Kontaveit, eighth in the seed, beat Sakkari, fourth seeded, in two hours and two minutes.

Earlier in the first semifinal played by Spanish tennis players, Garbiñe Muguruza won against Paula Badosa in two sets with a score of 6-3 and 6-3.
