Panamanian judo will be one of the sports that will be present in the first edition of the Junior Panamanian Games that will be held in Cali, Colombia, from November 25 to December 5.
Estela Riley, president of the Panamanian Judo Federation, reported that the judokas who will compete in the regional games are Pablo Díaz (-60 kilograms), Alexis Harrison (-81 kilos), Manuel Velásquez (-100 kilos) and Nemesis Candelo (- 48).
Panamanian athletes achieved their classification in the Pan American judo tournaments held this year in Guadalajara, Mexico and Cali, Colombia.
Judo competition will be one of the first sports disciplines to see action at these regional sports games.
The matches are scheduled to begin on Friday, November 26 and end on Sunday, November 28.
