BOLASPORT.COM – Persik Kediri has officially appointed Javier Roca as the new head coach to navigate the 2021 Liga 1 competition.

This Chilean architect was introduced through an upload on Persik social media on Thursday (11/10/2021).

The appointment of Javier Roca is quite surprising considering that previously many big names were associated with the White Tiger.

They include Ivan Kolev, Wanderley Machado, and finally Angel Alfredo Vera.

For Javier Roca, Persik Kediri is the first Indonesian club he has managed.

Previously, the coach, who is now 44 years old, strengthened the Chilean League club, Santa Cruz.

There, Roca successfully achieved an achievement by bringing Santa Cruz promotion to the second tier of the Chilean League.

Even though it’s his first time coaching in the Indonesian League, Javier Roca’s name has been poor across the country’s soccer competition.

Because most of his career as a player was spent in Indonesia.
