Disaster in Bavaria, “alert” in Baden-Württemberg: The corona virus continues to spread strongly in the republic and most states are tightening their “G” regulations before the upcoming federal-state summit.
The warnings of a severe Corona winter with tens of thousands of new infections and overloaded intensive care units, which were given in advance by experts in abundance, have come into effect and now national fathers and mothers are hastily trying to put a stop to the pandemic disaster.
But does the end justify the means? The nationwide virus data offer little room for interpretation. The high level of new infections every day goes hand in hand with vaccination rates that fall short of the scientifically and politically required targets. At the same time, numerous clinics are working to the limit and the number of Covid 19 deaths is accelerating towards the 100,000 mark.
Nevertheless, the epidemic situation of national importance is to end on November 25th – this is what the traffic light parties SPD, Greens and FDP want, which are expected to provide the future federal government soon. That is why they are pushing for an amendment to the Infection Protection Act (IfSG), which largely transfers pandemic policy responsibilities back to the federal states.

Berlin on the way to 2G plus

Special cases Bremen, Saxony-Anhalt and Schleswig-Holstein

Even more: In “situations with a particularly high risk of infection” – namely at carnival celebrations and in clubs – should therefore 2G more to grab.
