In Saint-Pol, a hundred archers for a qualification for the French Championships – Saint-Pol-de-Léon



Organized by the Compagnie d’Arc de Saint-Pol-de-Léon, an archery indoor competition at the Isidore Daniélou room took place on Saturday and Sunday November 28, 2021. It served as a qualification for the Championships of France. About a hundred archers were present, including a member of the French team: Jean-Philippe Boulch. The competitors came from the four corners of North Finistère and the Côtes d’Armor. “It’s nice to be back in competition after two years of absence,” explained Chloé Guirriec and Jean-Michel Mandin, two members of the board of the Compagnie d’Arc de Saint-Pol-de-Léon, chaired by Tony Bothorel. To qualify, it will be necessary to do as well as the Plouvornéen Jean-Philippe Boulch who during his last competition had obtained a total of 596 points out of 600.

The club is doing well since it has seventy licensees. “They have all resigned, rejoices Jean-Michel Mandin. We must thank the municipality which with its aid check of 15 € for young people to help stabilize the workforce ”.
