In 2022 they will demolish fronton courts, basketball courts and JC Chávez sports center in Culiacán 87, says Estrada Ferreiro

For next year, the fronton courts, tennis courts, basketball courts and the emblematic Julio César Chávez sports center will be demolished within the Culiacán 87 Park and will make room for new projects.

However, the same courts will be rebuilt in other places of the same complex, said the Municipal President of Culiacán, Jesús Estrada Ferreiro.

The president revealed some of the remodeling plans in the sporting area, after delivering the Municipal Sports Award to weightlifter Jorge Adán Cárdenas and para-athlete Elsa Suisei Kayama Tamayo, in a ceremony held in the Council Hall of the City Council.

“For some important reason they are going to be demolished, and they are going to be replaced in other areas of the same park, but more modern, because the sports center is about to fall, and it is very risky; the fronton court is also in poor condition, it is not in optimal condition; the gym (JC Chávez) precisely, we are going to try to relocate it, but with better conditions ”, he explained.

“We do not have amounts right now, because I do not have the budget yet approved, but it is about repairing some fields and changing places to others, to take advantage of other lands; They would be where the sports center is, which is in poor condition, it must be demolished, the basketball courts, the tennis courts ”.
