Kiril Wachsmann was one of the great figures of Uruguay in the victories against Colombia in the qualifying rounds towards the 2023 World Cup. After the double date Total Basketball he chatted with the intern.
Regarding the triumphs, he commented: “I am very happy with the victories, we achieved the objective that was to win, so it leaves us all very happy to have achieved it.”
About his personal game, Malvín’s man analyzed: “I’m happy because I was able to help the team, I supported them and did my job that was important for the team to win.”
Wachsmann made reference to the difference of the parties: “At times the second game was difficult, they raised another defense and took us out of our game, especially in the first half. But with the rotation of the squad we resumed the dynamics we had in the first game, we returned to raise a defense that was key and that allowed us to open the field, play as a team and start running to score ”.
To conclude, he referred to the next window in January: “I think that for the next window the team will be just as focused, in any case we have to go game by game, getting victories since we know that each point is key. Now we have to rest and be happy but when it was time to play again, we started on the right track and hopefully we can continue like this ”.
