KOMPAS.com – Yamaha’s PATA rider, Toprak Razgatlioglu, seems to have no problem with adapting at the Mandalika Circuit.
Toprak dominated the 1st and 2nd free practice sessions of WSBK Mandalika as the fastest racer.
In the FP1 session, he recorded a time of 1 minute 34.985 seconds. Then in FP2, the record is getting faster with 1 minute 34.230 seconds.
While his rival, Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki), is in 11th place in FP1 with a time of 1:37,386.
Then in FP2 he was able to jump to rank 2 under Toprak with a time of 1:34,404.

After the race, Toprak explained how he could adapt and then dominated the first and second free practice sessions.

“I saw the track map on the wall, then after the first lap I studied live,” Toprak told the media crew, Friday (19/11/2021).
“I tried to go a little faster after that, and it worked. From 1:39 to 1:37.”
“Of course I was surprised to see these results. However, I also like this Mandalika Circuit track,” he explained.
However, he felt a little bit difficult in some corners.

As is known, the Mandalika Circuit has 17 corners with details of 11 bends to the right and six to the left.
Meanwhile, Jonathan Rea was not comfortable with his motorbike settings in FP1. As a result, he slumped to 11th position.
But in FP2 he was able to answer his expertise in riding a Kawasaki ZX-10RR at the Mandalika Circuit.
“The first day was very fun to try this circuit, especially since I had high expectations and was curious,” said Jonathan Rea.

“I didn’t start with a good rhythm, but just gradually and learning the track,” he said.
