[Tokyo Branch]On the 4th day of the 52nd Meiji Jingu Baseball Tournament, the high school semi-finals were held at Jingu Stadium in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo. He lost 9-10 to (Hiroshima, the fifth time in three years). He caught up with the difference of 7 points at one point, but did not advance to the final.

Hanamaki Higashi returned 1 point with a timely double hit by Osamu Ozawa (2nd year) in the 6th inning of 2-9, and scored 2 points with a timely double hit by Rintaro Sasaki (1st year) in the 7th inning. In the 8th inning, the sacrifice fly of Riku Watanabe (2nd year) approached a 3 point difference, and Sasaki scored a tie in his second home run in this tournament. Immediately after, he won one point and counterattacked in the ninth inning, but he was one step behind.

Hanamaki Higashi, who won the autumn Tohoku district tournament for the first time, is sure to participate in Senbatsu next spring.
