Good news for Charleroi: Koffi is fit

Phew of relief at Sporting de Charleroi! The titular goalkeeper Hervé Koffi, who had played against Union SG (4-0, November 5) despite a hip injury, should be able to hold his place this Saturday at Cercle Bruges.During this international break, the Burkinabé of 25 years old did not play the first of two games, against Niger (1-1), because he still suffered from the hip. But this Tuesday, after being spared two days by the Burkinabé medical staff, Koffi is found a starting place against Algeria.

A clear sign that he is better and that he is fit to play. Earlier in the day, on Tuesday, Charleroi coach Edward Still was reassuring about him. Barring a disaster by Saturday, Koffi will play against Cercle Bruges (4:15 p.m.) as part of the 15th day of the championship.
