Getafe takes air with a win over Cádiz

Getafe beat Cádiz 4-0 this Sunday in a match of the 14th day of LaLiga Santander played at the Alfonso Pérez Coliseum in the southern town of Madrid, and added three points with which abandoned last position that at the end of the fourteenth position the Levante will occupy.

With the many of the Uruguayan Mathías Olivera, from Jorge Cuenca, of the Turk Enes Unal and of Jaime Mata, the Madrid team defeated the Cádiz team, which barely enjoyed good opportunities except for a header from Álvaro Negredo in the first half and a shot at the post by Álvaro Jiménez.

If there is something that Getafe cannot be denied for seasons, it is his character. With Jose Bordalás, with Michel or, now, with Quique, there has always been a community of Uruguayan players who show a lot of nerve and grit. All complemented a successful group, which, however, this course was lost.

In front of Cádiz, the Charruas of Getafe put both things: grit and success. Olivera, Arambarri and Damián they boosted a team urgently in need of points. With their actions, they were key for the Madrid team to add three points with which to approach the salvation squares.

But before, the script was different. Despite the fact that there is still more than half of the tournament for the conclusion of the course, the duel between both teams was an anticipated final due to permanence. Separated by six points, with Getafe last and Cádiz sixteenth, victory was going to mean an oil balm for either of the two.

More for Quique’s men, who, until initial beep, they had only had a taste of winning once. A defeat, or even a draw, would have been terrible for the azulón team, which would have sunk to the bottom of the table.

For this reason, from the beginning of the duel, Getafe came out very strong on the field. During the first quarter, he managed to neutralize Cádiz, surprised by the start of his rivals and unable to stop the incursions of the two Uruguayan full-backs, Damián and Olivera, a constant nuisance for Iza Carcelén and the Uruguayan Alfonso Espino.

Quique opted to play without bands but with two long-distance men. And it was not bad at all during the initial leg of the crash. In it, the best chances of his team arrived and the only goal that he showed on the scoreboard in the first half.

He did it with a cross from Damián from the right wing and a header from Olivera, who entered the far post like a truck to run over Iza Carcelén without mercy and send the ball into the net of the Argentinean Jeremías Ledesma’s goal. Only seven minutes had passed and Cádiz had to roll up their sleeves.

Little by little he was regaining ground, with Espino very insistent on the left and with a good management of Álex Fernández’s game. The joy of Getafe was diluted and Cádiz accumulated some chances. Almost all, with distant shots that ended up over the goal of David Soria (Iza Carcelen and Alberto Perea), but some with more intention that was about to scare Getafe.

It was Salvi’s, who tried with a shot from inside the area that Soria saved and another from Negredo, substitute for the headdress “Choco” Lozano and that he was about to score with a header that was also stopped by the Getafe goalkeeper.

With order and effectiveness, the Madrid team went with an advantage to rest. Not much more. Good on the punch and correct on defense, he got an interesting advantage, but he still had 45 minutes ahead to suffer.

Álvaro Cervera reacted with two changes at half-time: Fali for Iza Carcelén and Iván Chapela for Salvi. The objective, to stop Olivera’s boarding schools, which he was making a break in the right area of Cádiz.

He did not succeed, because Getafe came out very plugged in the second half. Much more intense, more vertical and deep, he launched himself for the same to put the crash on track for good. The Turk could mark it Enes Unal with a header to the center of Damián, but he aimed badly when he was very alone.

But who did not fail was another defender, Jorge Cuenca. Also upside down, like Olivera, and also after another center from a Uruguayan player, Mauro Arambarri, made the second. A very strong entry on the right wing of Perea on Damián He left the fierce side of Getafe in the band, in charge of launching all the fouls. His witness was picked up by another Uruguayan, Arambarri, who left a delicious center on Cuenca’s head. The central did not forgive and the 2-0 rose to the scoreboard

Later, after a shot at the post by Álvaro Jiménez, to extinguish the appearance of a possible state of nerves, Arambarri appeared. The Uruguayan half put another perfect center at the head of Enes Ünal, That put an end to any doubts. Again a Uruguayan left his signature. In another play and in the aggregate of the game, which culminated with Jaime Mata’s fourth to round off a balsamic victory.
