Specifically, for the latter, those who play at the highest level and who have a training center, the executive of Bourgogne Franche-Comté has decided to grant a subsidy for the 2020/2021 season. Operating.

This amounts to 1.7 million euros. It finances the projects of these structures to facilitate access to sport for as many people as possible.

For the Yonne department, four high-level clubs therefore benefit from these subsidies: AJ Auxerre (100,000 euros), the Sens volleyball club (70,000 euros), the disabled basketball section of the Stade Auxerrois Omnisports (5,000 euros) and the Sentinelle de Brienon-sur-Armançon Omnisports, archery club dear to the champion Bérangère SCHUH, for 4,000 euros.
