With great performance, the local delegation finished the tournament with a total of 23 medals: eight gold, eight silver and the remaining bronze.
During the last day of competition, the Valencian athletes obtained two gold medals: Ariadna Belzunce (women’s singles) plus the pair of sisters Zayna and Nayten Di Lorenzo (women’s double), both in Badminton. In the same discipline, the male duo that formed Mateo Javier together with Agustín Street got the silver one.
Finally, Santino Godoy ranked second in Chess. While Beach volleyball (category sub 14 Matías and Bruno) and table tennis (Alma Marcial) achieved third place.
With these results, the Municipality was positioned in the first 10 places of the general medal table.
