Exactly the Official Recruitment of Irfan Bachdim

KOMPAS.COM – Persis Solo officially recruited Irfan Bachdim in the second round of the 2021-2022 League 2 transfer window.

The announcement of Bachdim’s recruitment was announced by Persis through his official website. Bachdim chose Persis because of the vision and management of the club which he considered good.

“Yes, I followed the Liga 2 competition and followed Persis. I think the management, the coach are very good and I also know some of the players here. Then maybe the most important thing here is there is a vision, there is a target, and that’s what I really like. I want to be part of the journey,” explained Irfan.

The name Irfan Bachdim is no stranger to the Indonesian football fans. The player who has Dutch descent began to steal the attention when he defended the Indonesian national team, which came out as runner-up in the 2010 AFF Cup.

He is a multifunctional player who can play as an attacking midfielder or winger on both sides.

He then shared his impression of the city of Solo, “The city (Solo) is beautiful, very beautiful. Lots of good memories with the national team as well as with other teams. The stadium is also amazing, I really like to be able to play here now.”

Persema Malang became the first club when pursuing a football career in Indonesia. After two seasons at Persema, Irfan decided to venture abroad and had time to defend Thai League clubs, namely Chonburi FC and Huai Tahalaeng United as well as two J League clubs, Ventforet Kofu and Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo.

Irfan then returned to Indonesia in 2017 to strengthen Bali United. In 2020, he left Bali United to join PSS Sleman before ending his contract with Super Elja in early October.

Irfan has a target that is carried out with Persis, which is to mobilize the ability to bring Laskar Sambernyawa back to the highest level of Indonesian football.
