Rafati: “Without my wife I wouldn’t be here today”
On November 19, 2011, referee Babak Rafati (51) shocked the Bundesliga with his attempt to commit suicide. Before the Bundesliga match between Cologne and Mainz, he wanted to kill himself in his hotel room. Next week will be the tenth anniversary of the day.
