Next weekend, November 6 and 7, the fifty-fourth edition of the Manuel Campos judo trophy will be held, valid for the Canary Islands Championship in the infantile and cadet categories.
It will take place in the pavilion of the Gran Canaria Sports City with a starting time at 11:30 on Saturday (children’s category, for those born in 2007 and 2008) and the first act of weighing in all registered competitors. On Sunday at the same place and time the cadet championship will take place (born in 2004, 2005 and 2006).
The organization has planned three tatami mats to cover the championship which, depending on the number of participants, will have the format of leagues or direct eliminations.
This traditional championship was suspended in November 2020 due to the Covid19 pandemic.
