Eduardo Escobar would have signed with Mets for two years

Venezuelan Eduardo Escobar would have agreed with the New York Mets for two seasons, after declaring himself a free agent in 2021.

According to MLB Network journalist Jon Heyman, Escobar settled for $ 20 million.

It should be noted that the Creole ended the season with the Milwaukee Brewers after being traded for the Arizona DBacks in exchange for two players.

The infielder could occupy second base, which is vacant before the departure of Javier Báez also as a free agent for the metropolitan team.
