Djokovic will face Tsitsipas, Rublyov and Ruud at the Champions Tournament

The world’s first tennis player, Novak Djokovic, will play Stefanos Tsitsipas, Andrei Rubljov and Casper Ruud in the basic group of the Champions Tournament. In the second group, defending champion Daniil Medvedev will play Alexander Zverev, Matteo Berrettini and Hubert Hurkacz.

Djokovic is the five-time winner of the final tournament of the season, which will take place for the first time in Turin from 14 to 21 November. The 34-year-old Serb won his last triumph six years ago, and if he won the title this year, he would equal Roger Federer’s record.

In the Djokovic group, Tsitsipase will meet the winner of the 2019 Champions Tournament. He has beaten his Greek opponent six times in eight matches so far. Rus Rubylov will appear at the Masters for the second year in a row, Ruud qualified as the first Norwegian in history.

In the second group, in addition to the Russian world number two Medvedev, the third world player Zverev also triumphed in the Champions Tournament – the German tennis player won in 2018. Berrettini will claim his second participation in the Masters at home, Hurkacz from Poland is a debutant.
