SLP.- As part of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, on December 3, the Municipal System for the Integral Development of the Family (SMDIF) will participate in the program established for this commemoration, which will begin this Sunday in the bicycle lane, with a Badminton exhibition and an inclusive wall, in the Tequis Garden, activities organized in coordination with the Municipal Sports Directorate.
People with motor, intellectual, visual, psychosocial and short stature disabilities will hold a Badminton exhibition in order to publicize adapted sport and raise awareness among people without disabilities.
Subsequently, a collage will be made with more representative aspects of an inclusive world, where it can be observed that all people have the same rights, there are the same tastes, interests and activities and many that can be shared.
The activities will take place from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
In addition to this, in the morning at the Municipal Palace, from Wednesday December 1 to Friday December 3, there will be conferences, interactive exhibitions and the presentation of a book. As it is intended to cover all the senses, there will also be a “Wine and Chocolate Sensorial Tasting”, with a large installation closing of the Municipal Council for the Social Inclusion of People with Disabilities, delivery of wheelchairs and an inclusive tour in Turibús, by the Municipal DIF.
