Deladem AKPAKI reelected at the head of the Togolese Judo Federation

Deladem AKPAKI is re-elected by acclamation by his peers, President of the Togolese Judo Federation (FTJ) for the next five years during an extraordinary statutory and ordinary elective congress held in the city of the seven hills, Atakpamé this Saturday, November 6, 2021.

The re-elected President intends to raise Judo to the first rank of Olympic disciplines, revitalize the national technical direction, accentuate the training of Judo athletes and coaches, strengthen the activities of the Judo project at the School which is bearing fruit, and qualify more ‘athletes for major international competitions and the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. A partnership agreement was signed in May 2021 between the Togolese Judo Federation (FTJ) and the French Judo Federation (FFJ) to help judokas Togolese to promote their talents at the highest level.

On the sidelines of this election, the World Judo Day celebrated on October 28 of each year, was marked by a demonstration of Judo clubs in the town of Atakpamé.

At the end of the work, the re-elected President, Mr. Deladem AKPAKI gave his impressions and the vision of his office for the next Olympiad.

The new office looks like this:

President: Deladem Akpaki

Secretary General: Eustache Ayivi d’Almeida

General Treasurer: Nubuéké Lawson

This new elected executive board will be completed by the forthcoming appointment of the National Technical Director, the Sporting Director, the Coaching and Development Director, the Referee Director, the Marketing Director and the President of the Athletes Commission.
