Dak Prescott has earned a new recognition after his presentation

With the Cowboys having to face off with the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium just a few days, the good news continues to arrive for the team. This time, Quarterback Dak Prescott has earned new recognition.

This is the FedEx and NFL award for the pass player of week 10. Prescott would finish the resounding victory against the Falcons 43-3 with very good numbers. Taking into consideration that the game was already decided in the third period, Dak finished the day with 296 yards and two touchdowns on passing plays, both of which would be achieved by receiver CeeDee Lamb. After his last rushing touchdown near the end of the third quarter, Cooper Rush came out to fill in for the quarterback during the final period of the game.

It should be noted that this is the second time that the QB has won this award so far this season. The first time would be in week 6 after their great road win against the New England Patriots. In that opportunity, Prescott would have 445 yards and three touchdowns. Including the winning 35-yard pass to CeeDee Lamb in overtime that would leave the score at 35-29.

Prescott is without a doubt the leader of the dressing room and clearly many of the team’s results are reflected in his determination and the words he directs to the team. The best example of this is when Cooper Rush had to start as a starting quarterback against Minnesota. Dak at all times was motivating his teammates and Rush to do a great job. Eventually the motivation paid off and Dallas would end up winning in Week 8 by 20-16.

Returning again with the award, FedEx is going to make a donation of two thousand dollars on behalf of Dak Prescott. This will go to some institution that is part of the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), or any other institution of higher education. In addition, the objective is that the money be used for scholarships required by students who have earned them for their effort.

Dak is expected to continue to earn this recognition in the weeks to come. From any point of view, the idea of helping students achieve their goals looks very interesting. And on the sporting side, the QB will make the Cowboys reach higher levels. So it’s a win-win situation for everyone.

With 2,341 passing yards and 20 touchdowns, Dak will have a tough test at the Chiefs’ home. Therefore, it is expected that not only will he increase his numbers for his personal account, but that he can draw a positive result from such a hostile scenario as Arrowhead Stadium. The Cowboys know they have to take one step at a time to achieve goals, that includes Prescott playing at the highest level.
