Confusion about ex-HSV trainer Thioune in Hanover

On Monday at 4:23 p.m. Hannover 96 made public what all the sparrows had whistled from the roofs. The Lower Saxony, next Sunday host of HSV, parted with coach Jan Zimmermann (42) and want to present the successor by Wednesday if possible. In particular, there are rumors about ex-HSV trainer Daniel Thioune, which developed into confusion yesterday.

His name came up quickly. Thioune was one of the top candidates, it was said in the 96 environment, but there was a problem: The 47-year-old, who was on leave in May in the Volkspark, is still under contract with HSV. Accordingly, 96 would have to come to an agreement with the HSV bosses.

But how big is Hanover’s interest? According to MOPO information, no request was received by HSV until yesterday afternoon. On the leash, however, it was said that the matter of reaching an agreement with HSV was quite complicated. Doesn’t really go together.

There are several trainer candidates at Hannover 96

One thing is clear: HSV would probably release Thioune even before the duel on Sunday. Most recently, in a comparable case, Holstein Kiel refrained from releasing Ole Werner, who resigned in September, before the duel with Werder Bremen. Werner is only now swinging the baton on the Weser. According to “Sportbuzzer”, Dietmar Kühbauer and Jens Keller are also candidates for 96. Uwe Neuhaus, however, should not be available.
