Olympic winner from Nagano and former national team coach Vladimír Růžička became the new coach of hockey players in Litvínov. He replaced the recalled Vladimír Országh at the club of the North Bohemian club.

Fifty-eight-year-old Růžička is a pupil of Litvínov, in whose jersey he entered big hockey. So far, the coach of the two-time world champions from 2005 and 2010 has worked in the premier league in Kadan. Růžička signed a contract with Litvínov until the end of the season.

The premiere at the Litvínov substitution awaits him on Friday, November 19, in a home game against Mladá Boleslav.

Litvínov is the second team in the highest competition to change head coach this season. Robert Svoboda, who was replaced by Luboš Jenáček, ended up in Zlín at the end of September.
