Chihuahua Capital will host youth basketball talents for 3×3 State Championship

The Municipality of Chihuahua will receive youth basketball talents from across the state for the next 3×3 U-18 State Championship, which will be hosted by the Tricentennial Sports Center gym, on December 7, 8 and 9.

The Municipal Government of Chihuahua in collaboration with the FIBA ​​State Youth Commission and the Mexican Basketball Sports Association (ADEMEBA) and the International Basketball Federation, presented the call for the championship in its state stage, based in the city of Chihuahua .

The bases of the call contemplate the registration of teams in the male and female branch, born from the year 2003 and later, with a registration fee of 1,000 pesos for technical expenses towards the national stage. This call is available on the Facebook page of the Municipal Institute of Physical Culture and Sports (IMCFD) and on the social networks of “Lideresdeportecuu”.

The state coordinator of the FIBA ​​Youth Commission, José Alejandro Rodríguez Domínguez, said that teams will be received from all over the state, to define the winning team that will have representation in the National stage from January 21 to 23 in Hermosillo, Sonora and later , to the International Championship in El Salvador 2022, so it is intended that it be a Chihuahuan team, who represents at the international level.

For his part, the representative of the Municipal Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, Emmanuel Moreno Ramírez, expressed the importance of publicizing these events with the aim of continuing to add wills that strengthen Chihuahuan society through activity and sports tourism.

The representative of Associations and Municipalities of the Chihuahuense Institute of Sports and Physical Culture, Karina Aguirre Chávez, recognized the organization of the project at the state level, where sport is growing in all platforms and forms of inclusion for athletes.

The presentation of the call was attended by the state president of the Mexican Basketball Association (ADEMEBA), Jorge Armando Medina Aldana and the coordinator in the Municipality of Chihuahua of the FIBA ​​Youth Commission, Cristina Aurora Santiago Loera .
