Among other things, the Code of Basic Values should include the preservation of the club’s name, the club’s colors and the club’s logo, the unrestricted commitment to priority participation in the national competition and Dortmund as the venue for all BVB home games, the clear commitment to 50 + 1- As a rule, go to standing room and socially acceptable ticket prices. This code is now to be drawn up and legally secured in a committee, which was resolved with a dissenting vote.

There were also some personnel decisions: The members appointed the previous treasurer, Reinhold Lunow, to succeed Gerd Pieper as deputy president. Bernd Möllmann, who previously headed the table tennis department, will be the treasurer. “Gerd Pieper was Vice President of Borussia Dortmund for 13 years and has represented our club on the KGaA supervisory board for the past 18 years, in 17 of these 18 years as chairman of this important body,” said President Reinhard Rauball in honor of Pieper, who had left due to illness: “He has with great personal commitment, with his prudent and level-headed manner, campaigned for the interests of Borussia Dortmund. ”

A familiar face becomes the new cash auditor: Ex-keeper Roman Weidenfeller replaces Günter Kutowski, formerly a former professional with the black and yellow.
