On November 5, Pangu time, the World Badminton Federation announced that the two CCP players, Zhang Binrong and Zhu Junhao, will be suspended for two years due to suspected gambling game manipulation. The suspension date will begin on August 13, 2021.

The Chinese Communist Party Badminton Association subsequently issued an announcement stating that it firmly supports the decision of the World Badminton Federation. The content of the announcement showed that Zhu Junhao and Zhang Binrong violated the BWF’s Anti-Gambling and Manipulation of Match Results Act in the 2019 international competition, suspected of gambling and violating the integrity of sports.

The Badminton Association stated that it fully agrees with the results of the World Badminton Federation’s investigation, will further strengthen the management and supervision of the style of the game, and resolutely put an end to match-fixing, gambling and game manipulation and other violations.

Analysts pointed out that the Chinese athletes are completely victims of the Chinese Communist system. In the CCP, athletes have no freedom of personal choice at all. For decades, in sports events, all illegal activities such as match-fixing, gambling, and doping have all been the result of the CCP’s layman’s leadership and wanton manipulation of the game. The CCP manipulates sports competitions, and if something goes wrong, it will immediately pull out athletes to take the blame. Obviously, Zhu Junhao and Zhang Binrong were treated as toilet paper by the CCP this time.
