Atlanta Braves crowned 2021 World Series champions

One of the teams that did not see themselves as favorites to win the 2021 World Series, showed that a good season finale is key. The Atlanta Braves, were crowned this Tuesday as the new monarchs of Major League Baseball (MLB).

After six games against the Houston Astros, the Atlanta team visited Minute Maid Park to close a play that, for a couple of episodes, looked very even.

With the help of Freddie Freeman and Jorge Soler, the Atlanta Braves broke an endless number of pools and lheld their first World Series championship since 1995, by winning the sixth game 7-0.

The date was already set by destiny, as Max Fried threw a great pitching game leaving six blank innings, in addition to Soler’s productions that left three runs for the Braves.

Freeman put off his crop with an RBI double and then shattered the illusions of Astros fans. with a solo home run in the seventh inning to make it 7-0.

After this event, dozens of Houston fans left the park knowing that the season had ended with a bitter taste, after the epic game five where Mexican José Urquidy was a factor.

The Atlanta Braves celebrated in a big way and it was not for less, because in the month of August they were in a slump with results below .500.

Now, after a long drought, Atlanta will once again celebrate an MLB title.
