The capitals defeated the Syntainics MBC from Weißenfels with 92:72 (49:39). The best throwers of the game were Marcus Eriksson and Luke Sikma with 19 points each. For Alba it was only the fourth win in the seventh game of the season, so the team of coach Israel Gonzalez is just on par with the Chemnitz Niners or newly promoted Heidelberg.

Munich clearly defeated EWE Baskets Oldenburg, which was ailing this season, with 93:80 (46:30) and thus caught up with the top. Deshaun Thomas was Bayern’s best thrower with 17 points, and their victory was never in danger.

Brose Bamberg and the Hamburg Towers are also right at the top. The Franconians prevailed with 77:72 (45:34) at the Fraport Skyliners from Frankfurt and drew level with the Telekom Baskets Bonn, Hamburg and Bavaria with their fifth win of the season. The guests’ best thrower was Omar Prewitt with 17 points. The Towers took their fifth league win in a row in a clear 83:46 (42:30) against BG Göttingen and are now leaders because of the better basket ratio.
