After success, De Poelster is holding skating clinics for youth again last year

AMSTELVEEN After the great success of last year, the Amstelveen skating club De Poelster will again this year hold skating clinics for youth up to the age of twelve at the Jaap Edenbaan in Amsterdam. You can choose to participate on Fridays 3, 10 and 17 December from 4.55 pm to 5.55 pm or on Saturdays 4, 11 and 18 December from 9.20 am to 10.20 am.

At the clinics, participants who are still a little unsure are welcome, as well as participants who have already skated last winter and want to become just as good as Kjeld Nuis and Jutta Leerdam.

Skating is like cycling, according to De Poelster: once you’ve learned it, you’ll never forget it. If there is natural ice, just like last winter, the participants in the skating clinics can immediately put on their skates and enjoy. And if there is no natural ice, they can go to an artificial ice rink, such as the Jaap Edenbaan, where they can skate all winter long.

De Poelster is a speed skating association and participation in the skating clinics is only possible with norwegians or tie skates. A helmet and gloves/mitts are required. If you don’t have your own skates or helmet yet, you can rent them at a discount at the Jaap Eden Ice Rink. For more information: poelster.nl
