For two weeks, an amateur tournament of the Jalisco circuit was played, and this time it was at the Santa Anita club, with number 30 in its history.
It is a tournament that for many years maintained its quality in the organization, a very important part to attract those people who say that Santa Anita is far away, but knowing everything that can happen in that event, with all its surprises, good attentions, very good programming in the schedules, no matter if there is a mishap with the rains, for example, everyone knows that they are going to have a great time.
It began with a welcome party, during the night, where most of the players attended, approximately 300 players and managers, with music and delicious food.
Then they had a Bingo day, this with the idea that people socialize, have fun and get out of the bad times caused by the pandemic.
To close the event, there was also a meal with those who reached the final, the different directors of the club and the ATJ, and presented beautiful artistic trophies, along with an excellent background scenography.
We must applaud the board of directors, where Mrs. Eva Cevallos is an important part of all this, and of course, you can see the hand of the club’s tennis professional, who has many years of experience in these events and mainly in this institution. I am referring to Prof. Héctor Gómez.

On another subject, also these days I was witnessing the training of the WTA players, it really is something spectacular, what tennis, what physique of each of the players, but mainly, what mentality, simplicity and respect for everything that surrounds each of them.
A great moment awaits us in tennis in Mexico, having this event in our house is something that we should take advantage of, mainly to motivate all our young people.
We have to respect what is ours, what is done with so much effort and professionalism, to promote our beloved white sport, we have to be there present.
In this tournament, many of our players will be able to remove the blindfolds, and see the reality of how to become the best in the world, it is not that it is impossible, but for this you must work with great seriousness and simplicity in accepting at all times the advice of a true tennis professional.
