A man was arrested on suspicion of robbing an ice cream shop: he entered and threatened the employee with a gun. He took 3 thousand euros away.
A 40-year-old man was arrested today, Friday 12 November, because he was held responsible for attacking and threatening an employee of an ice cream shop in Cassano Magnago, a town in the province of Varese. The carabinieri of the Cassano station and of the Operational and Radiomobile Nucleus of the Busto Arsizio Company thus carried out the precautionary custody order in prison issued by the judge for the preliminary investigations of the Busto Arsizio court. The man is accused of robbery.
The man had taken away three thousand euros
The facts date back to June 30 of this year: the man, with his face partially covered by the surgical mask and with a baseball cap, entered an ice cream parlor. After walking around the counter, he walked over to the employee and pointed the gun at her and told her to give him all the money in the cash register and safe. After taking the booty – about three thousand euros – he threatened her, telling her not to leave the warehouse. Everything was captured by video surveillance cameras.
The 40-year-old was already in prison for another robbery
After having carried out all the surveys and thanks to the investigations it was possible to reconstruct the dynamics of the aggression and collect various elements against the man. The order was served in prison considering that the man was already there due to another robbery in a tobacco bar in Cardano al Campo. On that occasion there was also an accomplice with him: the two entered the bar, threatened customers with a knife and took the day’s income.
