With 10 medals, the Quindío delegation returned from the VI Junior National Badminton Championship, where under the guidance of professors Hugo Morales and Jaime Zapata, they won 5 titles in the under-17 category.

Nicolás Morales and Sergio Zapata, athletes supported by the Indeportes Quindio Lifeguard program, continued to shine with their own light, winning gold in men’s U-17 doubles.

Morales, partnering with Dahiana Giraldo, also won the gold medal in mixed sub-17 doubles, while Sarai Daniela Pescador and Dahiana Giraldo did the same in women’s sub-17 doubles.

Morales and Giraldo dazzled with their level and were crowned champions in men’s singles and women’s under-17s, respectively.

Sarai Pescador was bronze in women’s singles and Sergio Zapata, next to Sarai Pescador, silver in mixed sub-17 doubles. The rest of the bronzes went to Lucia Barrios and Daniela Arbeláez in the female sub-11 singles and Daniela Arbeláez (who paired with an athlete from Valle del Cauca) in the mixed sub-11 doubles.
