[뉴스팟=뉴스팟] On the 8th, Yongin City appointed Ha Tae-kwon and Yong-dae Lee, the gold medalists of the badminton Olympics, as ambassadors for the ‘2022 Gyeonggi-do Comprehensive Sports Festival’.

Former coach Ha Tae-kwon won the men’s doubles medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics, and Lee Yong-dae won the gold medal in mixed doubles at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Former coach Ha Tae-kwon, who showed off his unexpected soccer skills by appearing on JTBC’s entertainment program ‘Get Together’, is currently training his juniors by opening a badminton academy in Cheoin-gu.

Lee Yong-dae lives in Giheung-gu and is appearing in the tvN entertainment program ‘Racquet Boys’.

Former coach Ha Tae-kwon and player Yong-dae Lee plan to conduct various promotional activities such as shooting promotional videos and social media activities until April next year, when the Gyeonggi Sports Festival is held, and they will also become torch relay runners.

At the appointment ceremony held at Yongin City Hall that day, Lee Yong-dae said, “I will work hard for the success of the Gyeonggi-do Sports Festival.”
