Zach LaVine surpasses Michael Jordan in Bulls history!

Confirmed leader of the new look Bulls, Zach LaVine assumes his status with great performances at the start of the season. The latest has also seen him dismiss Michael Jordan in a nice all-time ranking of the franchise!

Nikola Vucevic, DeMar DeRozan, Lonzo Ball… So many potential stars who have joined Chicago in recent months. But despite all these arrivals, the player franchise of the Bulls has not changed. Always well established in his role of leader of the team, Zach LaVine shows at the start of the season that he still intends to place himself as the franchise’s No. 1 offensive threat.

After three very good first games (26.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 51.9% shooting, 45% at 3pts), concluded with three wins, the winger and his teammates moved to Toronto on Monday. Long bothered by catchy Raptors, they were able to count on the exploits of their scorer, author of 22 points, at 7/16 shooting. One of them allowed him to take the place of a certain … Michael Jordan in an all-time list!

With that 3-point shot, Zach LaVine overtakes MJ and takes 4th place in the ranking of the biggest 3-point shot-scorers in franchise history.

It only took LaVine to register a single banderilla to put up a bigger total than Jordan, and his 555 long shots registered with Chicago. He finally had to wait for the 3rd quarter to achieve this, before planting two more later, to bring his mark to 558 units.

The Bulls have been unheard of since 1996

In Zach’s wake, Billy Donovan’s men continued their clear round, with a 4th success in as many games. What reminds long-time fans of the heyday of the franchise, more accustomed to such a great start since 1996!

The Bulls are 4-0 for the first time since the 1996-97 season.

Zach LaVine who surpasses Michael Jordan, his team who find a form worthy of the glorious years of the franchise… It’s good to be a fan of the Bulls these days!
