XV of France: Mohamed Haouas and Gabin Villière back in the 42 to prepare for the test against Argentina

At the start of the week, 14 players from the group of 42 called up to the French team to prepare for the autumn tour had left Marcoussis to play the 9th day of the Top 14 with their respective clubs this weekend. Departures made within the framework of the partnership between the French Federation (FFR) and the National League (LNR) and which occurs during periods of duplication.

But among these 14 players, some will not make their return and will not find their teammates this Sunday evening in Marcoussis. They are pillar Wilfrid Hounkpatin (Castres), second row Florian Verhaeghe (Montpellier) and rear Aymeric Luc (Toulon), who had been called up instead of Virimi Vakatawa. They are replaced by pillar Mohamed Haouas (Montpellier), third row Alexandre Bécognée (Montpellier) and winger Gabin Villière (Toulon). Accustomed to rallies, second row Bernard Le Roux (Racing 92) and rear Brice Dulin (La Rochelle) are back, as is winger Vincent Rattez (Montpellier).

Mohamed Haouas (12 caps) and Gabin Villière (7 caps) were absent from the first list due to muscle problems. But it is not at all certain that they are still 100% physically to claim a starting place in the first test match on November 6 at the Stade de France against Argentina.

The XV of France will then face Georgia on November 14 in Bordeaux and New Zealand on November 20 at the Stade de France.
