Asked about the difficulty of coming from a country like Tunisia, Ons made some unfortunate revelations at a post-match press conference.
“It’s very different coming from a country like mine than coming from the United States, France or Australia. Not only because you see the example of the other players in front of you, but also because you have more clubs, even more tournaments to play. Sponsors didn’t want to sign me because of my origins, which is unfair. I accepted it, but I did not understand it. I am very proud of the person I have become, without depending on others.
