Question: how many Belgian coaches are there in one of the ten best European championships, outside the Pro League? The answer is easy: 0.
More complicated: what is the last black-yellow-red T1 to have sat on the bench of a club playing in the Big 5 ? Ariël Jacobs, in 2013, in Valenciennes (Ligue 1), for a few months, only. It will soon be ten years since our contingent of technicians has found a place in the French, German, English, Spanish or Italian championship.
More broadly, to return to the top 10 of the best championships, the benches of these 162 clubs are not monopolized by regional or coaches from top nations. Far from it (see infographic). Why does the Belgian coach not manage to export himself, then?
