The director of the Colima Sports Institute, Ciria Salazar Carrillo, led the election of the State Sports Award in Colima for the 2021 broadcast with the participation of seven athletes.
After thanking the director, the event led to the election with all the jurors present and in a simple way they crossed the names of three applicants with an x to award them the award according to their criteria.
The coordinator of said event, Gabriela López, when reading the votes of each judge, issued a number that had previously been assigned to them so as not to know the chosen votes of the judges by name and avoid some reprisals that have never been given.
Thus, the three winners of the 2021 State Sports Award are Javier Alejandro Rosas Hoyos, a Judo athlete; Cristobal Aburto Tinoco, Judo coach; and Vicente Ignacio Guanche Méndez, weightlifting athlete.
The juries of this important decision are; Victor Chávez Sánchez, President of the Union of Associations of Charros de Colima; on behalf of the Associations. Martha Isela Elizondo Ochoa, weight coach; representing coaches who have already won the award.
Carmen Paola Chávez García, better known as “Chiquipao” by the athletes who have already won the award. Efraín Espinosa Ursua, for Sports Associations.
Marisol Rubio Ursua, Jaime Medrano Arevalo and Hernán Castillo Rincón, all three for the Sports Chronicler. In addition to the three jurors assigned by the Colima Sports Institute, Sergio Carrillo, Director of Physical Education of the state of Colima, Maria Teresa Fierros Cruz, director of the Colima Institute of Disability; and Jorge Humberto Cortés Álcaraz, Secretary of Youth.
The Director of Incode would act as judge only if the casting vote was needed for a tiebreaker. One by one the ballots were read by the number of judge, which were as follows.

The director of the Incode Ciria Salazar Carrillo, thanked the participation of the entire jury and closed the session when all the judges signed the corresponding minutes of the State Sports Award 2021.
