Wales postpones the Red Devils’ World Cup qualification | UEFA 2022 World Cup Qualifiers

The Red Devils could already be sure of their World Cup participation tonight. But then Wales, without the injured Gareth Bale, had to drop points in Estonia.

Cardiff striker Kieffer Moore decided otherwise and scored the only goal of the game after 13 minutes.

Wales is thus within 5 points of the Red Devils. If Belgium collects at least 1 point in the remaining matches against Estonia and Wales (in November), then the direct World Cup ticket is in for the Devils.

Wales is well on schedule for the jump-off matches with tonight’s win. It counts as many points as the Czech Republic, which defeated Belarus 0-2. But the Czechs have played 1 match more than the Welsh.
